Yoga Sculpt/Bootcamp is a fun, creative, and intense workout that will expand your focus beyond yoga and integrate unique strength, circuit training and plyometrics into your yoga practice. This total body workout hits every major muscle group, while systematically increasing flexibility, strength, and stamina. Sculpt and bootcamp classes utilize light free weights and a weight bar. The room is heated to 85-95 degrees during this class.

 

Yoga sculpt/Bootcamp has many benefits, including building lean muscle mass, increasing metabolism, and improve bone density. This class offers a complete workout of stretching, strength training, and cardio. No need for the gym! All levels welcome… be ready to sweat your way to a lean sculpted body. Yogasculpt, while intense, is a great addition to your current practice. Try it out for a fun and challenging way to sweat on your yoga mat.

 

TruHarmony instructor Michelle Grim share’s her passion for yoga sculpt: “I started teaching sculpt because it combined two practices I had been trained in and fallen in love with; in college, I studied exercise physiology and became a personal trainer, and as my career progressed more towards medicine, I went through training for yoga. At first, I just loved the excitement of combining the two fields I loved so much into one class. Weights with yoga, what an exciting concept! But, then I began to notice how useful it was in strengthening those muscles I needed specifically for yoga to make my yoga practice even stronger, and that’s when I truly fell in love. Through sculpt, I am able to have a lot of fun, change up my yoga routine, and also see amazing benefits in my vinyasa yoga practice. Not to mention, this class helps sculpt my body, which is always a plus! As my original desire to teach yoga blossomed from my love for it, the same happened with sculpt. I can’t help but spread this to others through teaching. Sculpt has been such a gift to me, and I love to ignite that same excitement in my students.”

 

Yoga sculpt and vinyasa instructor, Megan Chappell, has reenergized her sculpt yoga classes through rigor and through inspiration. “I have a strong relationship with yoga sculpt, in that we challenge each other. I knew my yoga practice felt connected, but I had no idea how much more aware of my practice I became once I introduced sculpt into my regimen. Educating through teaching is a fundamental responsibility when leading any yoga class, and I find it so rewarding to learn by doing and then in return, sharing that with our students.
